The 44th NERA Congress will be held at the University of Helsinki, in Helsinki Finland on 9-11 March 2016.
Professor Yrjö Engeström in collaboration with lecturer Annalisa Sannino from CRADLE university of Helsinki are organizing an Symposium: Activities and Communties in Turmoil: Dialectics of Agency and Transformation in Educational Research, preferred network: Adult learning – at work, in education
and everyday life.
Doctoral Candidate Juhana Rantavuori and Yrjö Engeström from the Learning in Productive Social Movement -project will present: Learning to survive: Contradictions and object formation in a food cooperative in Finland.
Doctoral student Kukka Ranta & Master student Mikael Brunila from the CRADLE Research Center will present the following papers:
1. “This Is Not Your Debt!” – Emancipation from the Emotional Prison of Guilt in the Spanish Housing Rights Movement
2. Fighting off the Vultures – How one Spanish Movement has Seriously Challenged the next Round of Real Estate Speculation
